Frame-0018 (Collection) A Re-Do of an Oldie.

Hi Everyone,

So like I said yesterday I am cleaning out some files. Well I came across a set of 5 frames that I made and never posted... well, sort of never posted.  I posted just one in the collection as a Christmas Frame. It was back in December of 2014 and I only posted that one because the others weren't holiday themed and I just didn't think I should.

So today I decided it was a good time to post them, but I really liked the concept of the frames and how I designed them, so I decided to make some more and do a few in some fall colors because it's that season, so why not?

So this collection of 5 frames is now a collection of 12!! I tried to go with different color and style variations so they can be used for the seasons or for anything really.

I decided to share these as PNG files and so I put them all together in a .rar file. I just think that made more sense than posting the collections in two different formats right?  So as always... Free to Use... colorize, add, subtract, share... whatever you want. But again, as always, I only ask you leave my link on the frame layer if you share. It's very little to ask right?

Each Frame is it's own individual file with just the one layer. Below is a sample of what the 12 frames look like. They look much better in their actual size but to save space I shrunk the sample down some.

Thanks for looking!

So I have been going through my files and cleaning stuff out. I have a ton of projects that I started and never completed. Some of them I found interesting enough to hold onto in case one day I think I can do something with them.

This collection of frames were made in 2008.... so they are pretty old and their style will reflect that. Nothing super cool or funky, but I thought I would share them. You can feel free to do whatever you want to them. Colorize, add, subtract... etc.

I put them all in one file as layers. I X'd out most of the layers because it made the files a bit smaller. I was pretty surprised to discover that PSD files are much bigger than PSP files. Not sure why that is. Anyway... I just wanted to toss these up in case anyone was interested. I plan on adding more old files over the next few days.... so keep and eye out for updates.

This is what the file looks like :

Nine Frames in all, each on their own layer.

This is just to give you a close up idea of how they look.

As always... Free to use... blah blah blah.... Just don't claim them as your own, and please leave the Designed by layer in tact. Have fun!

Frame-0016 - Candy Love

ARTWORK : ©Arthur Crowe
AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT : http://www.arthurcrowesfactory.com/store/

So I have been trying some new things lately. I am trying to get some new skills under my belt so I can make something fresh. Today I made the curly ribbon you see on the frame and from there it evolved into the frame I am sharing with you today. Now I bought AV Bros plug-in a few years ago to be able to make ribbons etc, but honestly that plug-in overwhelms me and I have never been overly successful in creating variety. So I decided to try Adobe Illustrator. It scares the heck out of me because it is so different. So I made the ribbon in Illustrator and then did everything else in PSP. LOL  Cuz that's what I am comfortable with.  SO... I am offering up this frame. I think it's a fun one... I also whipped up a bunch of extras that you can snag if you want. You can find them all in My Fotki Album "The Snag Shack" You'll find a bunch of snags there. Feel free to check them all out.

So I am offering this frame as a simple png file... so all you need to do is right click on it and choose "Save As" or whatever option your browser gives you. Please feel free to share it and colorize it... whatever you want... All I ask is that you don't claim it as your own... and maybe recommend people come check out my blog. Not necessary... but why not?  Enjoy!

Frame-0015 - Fun Circle

ARTWORK : ©Arthur Crowe
AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT : http://www.arthurcrowesfactory.com/store/

I felt like this page needed a little update. I try and do one at least once a month. This one is a little one. It's a simple but fun frame to play around with. Free to use of course.... and you can do whatever you want to it as well as share it. All I ask is that you don't claim it as your own and you leave the designed by layer in tact. That's fair right?

So there you go! Enjoy!

Oh... I am working on a simple scrap flower tutorial that anyone can do.... we'll see if I ever get it done. I'm so bad!

This is a simple one layer frame. Play around with it and try different fills etc. Thanks for checking it out. :)

Frame-0014 - Spring Lace Collection

Earlier today I posted a St. Patrick's Day Template and said it started as a frame. Well I wasn't ready to walk away from creating, so I whipped up 4 frames using the lace center from the template I mentioned. I love versatility! I used flowers and bits and bobs I had saved over the years to add a little something, but the frames were made by me and I made the ribbon on the lilac set.

This Template comes in 4 Layers as shown above. The frames do not have a shadow on them, but I had to add one so you could see the white frame better. When you download the pack you won't see the white frame part because... well... it's white against white. I hope you enjoy them. As always... Free to use... do what you want with them or to them... just don't claim them as your own and if you share, please leave my design layer in tact. Easy Peasy!

Frame-0013 - Shamrock Lace (Ironic)

Oh Boy! Where do I start this post? It's been awhile since I have posted anything new on the blog. I have created some stuff, but nothing I feel is worthy of posting and sharing.  The truth is I really just feel like I am in a creative slump. So I made this lace shamrock frame and figured I would share it for anyone who would like to use it. All made from scratch. I hope someone can make something fun with it.

This file comes in 2 workable layers. One layer is just the white lace which looks nice by itself as an accent or even as a frame. It comes with a green under lace layer which you can colorize or add a pattern etc to it. In the sample at the head of this page shows the variety you can create.

Frame-0012 - Christmas

Artwork : ©Keith Garvey
Available for Purchase at : http://garv-girlspsptubes.pinnaclecart.com/

I don't usually make Christmas stuff.... but for some reason I have been this year. It's been kind of fun to feel festive. I will also be offering versions of this frame in other variations that are not Christmas themed. I hope to get those uploaded tomorrow or by the end of the weekend. I have been feeling creative so why not? I think this is a pretty cool frame. I personally prefer it without the snowman.

The Christmas Tree is an accent I offered up last week or so... Check it out in the Accents section. I hope you enjoy!
Two Frames, one with Snowman, one without.

Frame-0011 - Versatility

Artwork : ©Elias Chatzoudis - http://www.elias-design.gr/
Available for Purchase at : http://www.eliasartshop.com/

So… I had an idea in my mind for a frame. So I started to do some doodling and the result ended up nothing close to what I started out doing. But that’s how it goes sometimes. I like it when my brain just goes in it’s own direction. I have to be honest, I am pretty impressed by this one. Sure it is simple in it’s own right, but this was made 100% from scratch. No Preset shapes etc… all hand drawn with my mouse. The flower cluster in this frame is tubed from a picture from my own garden. The ribbon was also hand drawn as well.

Now another thing I really like about this frame is that I left everything on it’s own layer. This gives you a ton of options to play around with. This is why I made up 3 samples to show off this frame because you aren’t stuck with the way I set it up. You can move things around… or colorize.  You have a darker frame and a lighter frame to use. Great for colorizing bold or mild colors. I also gave you two black frame fills. One covers the whole back of the frame and the other leaves you an edge. The possibilities are endless. Lots of freedom.

Colorizing in PSP is simple. Simply click on ADJUST - HUE AND SATURATION - COLORIZE and play around with the settings.

Oh… and please feel free to snag the samples if you want. They are larger sized if you click on them. J

I hope you like this frame.

This Frame comes with 6 individual layer options.

Have fun creating!

Frame-0009 and Frame-0010 - Noisy Collections

So I guess being without my graphics for 2 days inspired me. I made a new template, a new tag and then tonight I made these two frame collections. It started with my goal to make another template, but as I went along, I thought these would make great frames. Well I just fell in love with them and made a bunch of color combinations. I wanted to make even more but I thought two sets of 5 would be enough for now. I may eventually turn this into a “Colorize for yourself” Frame Template… but for now… enjoy these frames. There are five frames in each pack. The colors are hard to gauge by the whole sample set, so I gave you a close up to really see the colors and textures.

Frame-0003 through Frame-0008 - Swirly Frame Collection

Artwork : ©Olivia  eolivia.com

I really like making frames I guess. I wanted to make a new Template, but boy it’s hard to come up with something that hasn’t been done. Well… in one form or another. So I went with a frame. I think I make some fairly unique ones. Maybe not… I haven’t shopped around much. So here are a couple of frames for you to play with.

All of these frames are 800 x 800 so you can play with sizing. With each file you get the frame and you get the background paper on a separate layer to use or not.

Download links are under each frame.

Frame-0001 & Frame-0002 - Devilishly Good + Extras

Artwork ©Keith Garvey - http://garvgraphx.com

I wanted to design up something a little different for a frame.  I tend to lean to lacey and flowery. So I wanted to try and do something a little darker. This is the end result.

I really liked how these came out. I created 2 packs so that you have options. Each pack is 3 layers. A heart frame alone, a heart frame with the horns and tail as pictured above and a heart with the horns and tail that will work for colorizing it to suit your needs.
(Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize)

I also whipped up some extras you can download.
They are in png format, so you can just click on them and save them.

Frame-0000 - Flowers in the Round

I have no idea why my images are coming out darker than they are.

One of my good friends is an amazing florist. I love her creations!  Today someone posted a picture of an arrangement she made for them.  I was inspired by it and opened my PSP to make something.

I love creating as much as I hate it.  I am very critical of whatever I make.  In the end... I figured this came out good enough to share.  Comes in 2 layers.  First layer is the fame and I added a matching center fill in case you want to use it.  I wanted to leave it as an option.

Here's a tag I made using my new frame.
